Asif Khan, CPA, Managing Director
Asif has extensive experience in tax services, auditing, and financial consulting, including business planning, business valuation, and management services. His experience includes a broad range of industries emphasizing in retail, wholesale distributors, real estate, financial services, energy and utilities.
Asif Khan holds a Certified Public Accountant license from the State of Florida and New Jersey. He also holds Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Rutgers University. He is a member of St. Pete Chamber of Commerce and American Institute of CPAs. He served as a member of the boards in several Non-Profit organizations.
His interests include community and professional events, and participating in Cricket (!) and Tennis activities. He is married with two sons and a daughter and resides in Brandon, FL.
Scott A. Arndt, CPA, Managing Director
Scott has over thirty years of experience in providing financial counseling, income tax planning and estate planning to a variety of clients and industries. He began his career in St. Petersburg with Ernst & Whinney, CPA’s and has practiced in St. Petersburg ever since. Prior to working with Khan, Arndt & Associates, P.A., he was a shareholder in the firm, Roberts, Hanna & Arndt, P.A.as well as Arndt & Associates, P.A.
Scott is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has completed the experience, examination and other requirements of the American Institute of CPA's Personal Financial Specialist Program. In addition, he has completed the curriculum and other requirements required by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.
Greg Sieh, CPA, JD, Managing Director
Gregory M Sieh our Tax Planning partner has been a CPA and practicing Attorney for 47 years. He has been trained by 3 Big Six Accounting firms and operated as managing partner of a regional firm with 45 employees. After passing his CPA, he was trained by McGladrey & Pullen, after which he went to Iowa Law School, getting his Juris Doctorate specializing in Tax Planning. As a Lawyer he joined a large local Law firm, Moyer and Bergman. He found his skills more suited for tax work at a CPA firm, so he jointed KPMG in Cedar Rapids. Oddly after several years KPMG moved to another city, giving Greg and 3 local Managers their office and Sieh & Company CPAs started, later merging with two other firms. Eventually he merged with American Express TBS and they merged with Honkamp and Krueger, CPAs., who had mandatory retirement.
Rather than retire, he joined our firm in 2017 He now has a nice following from his clients and helps our firm with our tax planning opportunities. Being both a CPA and an Attorney he sees across the disciplines easily offering effective efficient use of several entities and corporations for tax and business planning.
Greg’s Law firm of Chisam & Sieh ia a regional Law Firm, licensed in 5 states including Florida. Greg’s ability to tax plan includes executing all the documents from one office. Over his career he has set up plans for ESOPs, Retirement, Estate Planning all corporate work required to reduce income taxes.
Greg’s work ethic came early in his life as an All American State Champion swimmer who used his Athletic scholarship at the University of Iowa to learn his trade. Greg is also an avid golfer with 5 holes in one, with one being a back to back holes in one with the next golf swing. an effort that made a featured article in Golf Digest. Brain Buskirk, CPA, Tax Manager
Brian Buskirk, CPA our firm’s Tax Manager has been working in public accounting since 2002. Brian is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and an active member of the AICPA. Brian got his Bachelors of Science in Business Management from Pepperdine University in 2005 and is currently working on his Masters in Accountancy (MACC) at University of Northern Alabama. Brian has experience with construction, manufacturing, franchises, medical practices, dentists, law firms, professional services and non-profits industries. Brian has enormously strong diverse technical qualifications and an extensive background in business, tax, accounting and business consulting. He is also vastly experienced in, forecasting, budgeting, planning, financial analysis, auditing, reporting, business practices and controls. Additionally, he consults on a variety of tax and general accounting issues, and problem resolutions.
In his personal life Brian like to travel with his wife and kids, playing tennis, and enjoys biking on the Pinellas Trail.
